FINDING GROUND IN CHAOTIC TIMES
RESTING IN WHAT HOLDS YOU
a free, online talk for people longing for steadiness in uncertain times
Do you feel like it has all become a bit too much?
War. Political instability. Ecological collapse. Social fragmentation.
Many of us are exhausted from simply existing in these crazy times — trying to somehow stay informed but not overwhelmed by all of the news, yet still care deeply, and all the while keep functioning and hold it together in our day-to-day lives.
If this feels familiar, know that you are not alone.
And you are not meant to carry it on your own.
There is another way.
We are held within a vast web of relationships — with other humans, with the earth, with the cycles of life itself.
And when you can remember this, something begins to soften.
You can begin to rest.
You can rest in the movement of the cycle of life...birth, growth, maturity, death, compost, rebirth.
Recognizing your place within the movement of life and the web of relationships that sustains you allows you to see that you are not alone.
You do not have to try so hard to accomplish or resolve things on our own.
You can lean into the healing that lives in our collective intelligence.
And from that place, you can rest into more stability.
In this free workshop we will explore:
-
how remembering your place in the web of life helps regulate the nervous system
-
the wisdom of resilience and renewal in natural cycles
-
simple practices to reconnect with the living world that holds and sustains you
-
how this perspective can transform the way we relate to ourselves, each other, and the challenges of our times
There will also be time to share and discuss, together.
Remember, you are not alone.

A few words from a participant in a recent retreat about collective healing:
"Thank you for the experience of togetherness. The realisation that we are connected has such power. I remembered that I know it from ancient times. And it’s beautiful to know it now as well.”

About Naomi
My own journey back to a collective consciousness has shown me how simple and also how challenging it is to recognize and transform the individualized, capitalist sense of self that pushed me so hard to achieve, and even sometimes allowed me to think that I was better than someone else. On my way, I learned how deeply competition, judgment and a mentality of scarcity are ingrained into my relation with life and how these create loneliness and isolation.
For the past 25 years, I have been holding spaces for collective healing for young people and adults. In this time have witnessed hundreds of people reclaim their authentic relations with life. For the past 15 years, I have been apprenticed to Carmen Vicente, spiritual leader from the high Andes of Ecuador, from whom I have learned to remember the art of directing our attention, particularly to the simple wisdom of the cycles of the earth as well as how to work with ritual and ceremony for human health.
